My goal is to work towards health, healing and liberation on an individual and collective level. This section outlines my work focusing on community health through different mediums such as project development, research publications and creative projects.

Community Development Projects

  • Director of Community Mental Health Program at TCU: 2020 - 2023
    I designed and developed a community mental health program serving a community of digital rights activists across the globe while also providing services.

  • Co-Founder of Nafas: 2023 - Present
    an effort to address the mental health needs of the MENA communities.

  • Co-Founder of IN FLUENCY, Columbia University : 2016 - 2018
    an initiative exploring the effects of political injustices on global mental health.

  • Founder of Lezem, Lebanon: 2011 - 2016
    an initiative that used the arts to actively engage the youth of Lebanon in civic life.
